Dr. Ahmad Shariftabrizi is a nuclear medicine physician who is board-certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, the Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Society of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging. He completed a fellowship in PET/CT Imaging at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a fellowship in Nuclear Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Shariftabrizi has extensive expertise in a wide variety of oncologic PET radiotracers. He is experienced in reading bone, renal, and thyroid scans and specializes in nuclear neurology and cardiology. Dr. Shariftabrizi is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Iowa. He also works in the Division of Nuclear Medicine at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa. Additionally, he holds a faculty appointment at the Department of Radiology, Stony Brook University in New York.
